The items that directly affect the parish are;
Improvement of the existing verges along King Lane for walking, building new adopted footways where appropriate; this has a high priority and estimated budget of £150 000+. The Leeds Country Way and the Meanwood Valley Trail both follow King Lane in part. The work is required for road safety.
The creation of a re-aligned path crossing point at Golf farm and the upgrading of the footpath north of king Lane to a bridleway; this has a medium/high priority and estimated budget of £50 000 - 150 000. A bridleway meets King Lane at the blind bend at Golf Farm but there is no continuation bridleway northwards to Eccup
