the first walk is free - annual membership is then only £8 per person, £12 per couple'
We are affiliated to The Ramblers' Association. However, in order to actually start walking we needed funds to pay for third party (civil) insurance, maps, first aid equipment etc.
We grade our walks so that you know what to expect!
Grade 1 A fairly flat walk up to 3 miles
Grade 2 A gently undulating walk up to 6 miles
Grade 3 A moderately undulating walk up to 6 miles
Grade 4 A gently undulating walk between 7-9 miles
Grade 5 A moderately undulating walk between 7-9 miles
Grade 6 A walk of 10-13 miles with moderate ascent
Grade 7 A walk of 14-16 miles with moderate to significant ascent
Walking shoes/boots should be worn. Please bring a cagoule, snack and drink.
